How to Use a Fleshlight ?
When it comes to male sex toys, there are few that are more popular or well known than the Fleshlight and Fleshajack. There are lots of different models to choose from, each one satisfying a different niche market. If it’s your first time using a fleshlight, you may feel lost as to where to begin. Here is a helpful tutorial that will walk you through using your fleshlight for the first time.
Remove the Plastic Tubing
If you’re using your fleshlight for the first time, you will notice that the manufacturer ships it with a plastic or cardboard tubing inside the inner canal. The goal of this tubing it to keep the canal walls from sticking together during transport. This piece needs to be removed before your first use, or you may hurt yourself. To remove, simply pull out the plastic tubing from the back side of the fleshlight.
Clean and Warm Up Your Fleshlight
After the plastic tubing is removed, you should clean and warm up your fleshlight before use. After all, the the average body temperature is 98 degrees, so it won’t feel natural if you use the fleshlight cold. The best way to do this is to rinse it with warm to hot tap water in the sink. Once it’s rinsed, submerge the fleshlight in water for a few minutes. Ten minutes typically gets the job done. I’ve foandthat the best way to do this is to stick it in a sink full of hot water, and weigh it down with a cup or heavy object so that it doesn’t float to the top of the water. Remember to NEVER put your fleshlight in the microwave or in boiling water. In most cases, this will destroy your fleshlight unless the manufacturer states otherwise.
Lubing Up the Fleshlight
Once your fleshlight has reached your desired temperature, it’s time to lube it up. Always use a water-based lube for your fleshlight because many fleshlights use synthetic skin-like material, which is destroyed by using oil or silicone-based lube. You need to use a fair amount of lube to ensure that it glides well. With a water-based lube, you can use as little or as much as you want since it has no negative side effects on your fleshlight.
Now that your fleshlight is lubed up, it’s ready for use. When using the fleshlight, you may notice that the suction is either too strong or too weak. You can adjust the suction by twisting the bottom cap of your fleshlight. Tightening the cap all the way will provide more suction. For the least amount of suction, take the cap completely off. The correct amount of suction is completely dependent on your personal preference. I enjoy different amounts of suction depending on the model of fleshlight. Experiment to find out what works best for you.
Using the Fleshlight
When using the fleshlight, there are a few options available, including manual and hands-free methods. The manual method works much in the same way as normal masturbation, where you hold the fleshlight in one or two hands and move it to simulate yourself. The hands-free method involves wedging the fleshlight between two surfaces such as two pillows or your mattress and box spring to hold it in place while you thrust. If you can’t find a good place to wedge your fleshlight, manufacturers sell hands-free devices that hold your fleshlight in place for you.
Clean your Fleshlight
Once you finish using your fleshlight, it’s time to clean up to keep your adult toy in good condition. Thankfully, cleanup for most models of fleshlight is easy. Simply remove your fleshlight from its plastic casing, and rise it with warm water and mild-soap. Once again, don’t use oil-based products on your fleshlight during cleanup. After you complete clean the lube from the fleshlight, let it completely dry before you place it back inside its casing. Letting it dry is important because you don’t want mold or mildew to build up on your fleshlight.
That’s all there is to it! After a few times of using your fleshlight, it will become second nature. You may even pick up your own tips along the way or find that you like owning multiple fleshlights because they each offer a different type of stimulation. Remember that there is really no right or wrong way to use your fleshlight (within reason), so just do whatever feels the best. That’s the whole point of using a fleshlight, after all.
